Got a Heller 442 with laser grips for a CCW...
I'd like to set this Model 37 3" up as a kit gun...target shooting...camping...boating...beach trips...etc...
As it has a square frame, aftermarket grips are somewhat limited...
Any experience/opinions to share?

Thanks in advance...

I have my 3" model 60 SB set up w/ factory targets and really like the way it handles. I also have a set of Grashorn elk antlers that give it a nice vintage outdoorsey look. JF

These are Herretts, and a dream to shoot with. They might be a bit much for an airweight. Sometimes just factory magnas and a grip adapter work fine, as long as you don't have gorilla mitts.

Target Tech is right those Herret's are nice. I have a set of them too. PM me if you are interested in them. JF

OUCH!!!!...That 'lil gun BITES!!!...

Shot about a box of target loads and the knuckle on my middle finger is swollen...
Sweet shootin' gun though...smooth trigger in both single and double action...nice grouping...
But...gonna need some changes in the grips...

Thanks for the info, guys...

Jay Frame...I'm interested in the Herret's, but it appears I don't have PM capability yet...

When I bought this Model 37 3" it came with Pachmayer Grippers. They were very comfortable but a little too sticky for carry purposes.

I sold them on this forum and replaced with factory Magnas and Tyler T. Not quite as comfortable but a little more useful and purdy to me.
