Based on others in my database, S&W probably shipped your Bodyguard in 1991, but there's something odd about the Spec Ord number on your label. It only has one digit -- the 2. Normally that code is approximately the Julian Day the revolver was packed and ready for shipment. The 2 being in the first position suggests 1992, but it's odd that there is not a three digit number following the 2 to indicate the day of the year.
