I have a Model 39 no dash that I picked up several years ago that I'd like to get more info on. It has a serial number of 1085xx. It has the original numbered 2 piece blue cardboard box, extra mag, tool kit, and original vapor paper. Finish is nearly perfect except for some bluing wear on the right side rail (can be seen in attached picture).

Any info on age and value would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My guess on value with box n docs would be near $600 ?
The 39 no dash is really neat but has an achilles heel in the extractor claw which if breaks is near impossable to find.

Interesting the grips are light colored as usually you see the 39 no dash with dark walnut grips and 39-2's from the 70's with lighter grips like yours, then again your gun is a fairly late production 39 no dash.

They make an interesting study to compare to the 39-2 as several changes were made as time went on.
I like the trigger feel on my 39 no dash much better than my 39-2.
