Model 39 date question

Greetings,
I've been looking through the forum posts and am having a hard time figuring this out.
I just picked up a 39, It has an aluminum frame, from the posts I've looked at its a long tang. Marked Model 39,,no dash but the serial number is 587* Any thoughts on manufacture year?
(I can't afford a letter right now)

Most likely April/ May 1958. Aluminum frame with the long tang is standard.

Mr. Scots, sounds like a nice M39 and you got the frame terminology
correct. Did you get the matching box?
