The new Model 40-1 is a fantastic piece of machinery rivaling the quality out of the S&W factory of days long past. Here is mine. I haven't 1 single complaint about it.

blacksky, I've gone the boot grip route on mine and modified a set to fit. Now, I REALLY want some ivory polymer like those you have. Ajax makes 'em I think. But I really wish someone would make a dedicated set just to fit this model.

The grips on mine are Ajax and you're right, they didn't fit out of the package. All it took to fit them was 5 minutes and a dremel. Really very easy and well worth the work.
