Model 41 Bomar rear sight source ?

About three years ago I bought a barrel without a rear sight for my Model 41 from the factory. S&W said it was cut for a Bomar sight. I've checked a few places that list the BM41 sight for the 41 as discontinued (I've seen some post that indicate that Bomar is out of business). Do any of you know of a source? Or, if you don't, what other sight would fit the Bomar sight cut with a minimum of metal work?

Midway USA sells a Bomar cut sight made by Champion. I did have to file the sight dovetail to fit the sight to the frame. Other than that it looks identical to the Bomar. Bruce

My only question would be does the 41 take the same sight as the 1911? The Champion is the only Bomar cut sight that Midway offers.

BoMar used to offer a sight that fit the same dovetail that the Millett sight had. I got a BoMar and replaced my Millett with it. I don't think it's a standard BoMar dovetail cut though. The Champion sight would be my choice were I doing it again.

I ordered the 860-022 Classic Target Sight directly from Champion (not from Midway, as they won't ship reloading components to Mass I try to buy elsewhere.)
