I wanted to get opinions on this Model 41 that I was given to sell, but I like the way it looks and will probably try to keep it myself. It is for my girlfriend's family who has a bunch of guns from her uncle who passed away a couple of years ago, and now they want to sell them.

Any information, suggestions, or ballpark values will be greatly appreciated. I was having a little trouble inserting pictures, so I am attaching a link to view all the photos I took of it.

Good pictures for determining what you have - a clean post cocking indicator 5 1/2" bull bbl with an origonal rear site, box, paperwork, etc. Value between $750 and $950. $825 should be a moving price.

Great target gun, I have 2 which I bought used in '06 & '07 about $1000 ea with red dot sights. Only use CCI Standard velocity ammo.
$925 would be a good price. Check with LGS to see availability & price on new and used. A couple of months ago you could not find any available here in MA, so a matter of supply & demand.
try it out, bet you might keep it.

They are a fabulous gun to shoot and one of the finest target pistols in the world as well. Those are both very good posts on price for you by the other members.

That Model 41 could end up being your favorite plinker/target shooter if you can and decide to keep it. You could look for a long time to find one as nice.

Marry the girl , then seeing as you are now part of the family, a son-in-law deal would be in order.
Do you like her parent's...better yet do her parent's like you ? That's important!
If there is any way for you to become the next owner..do it...you will not regret owning and shooting possibly the nicest 22 handgun ever made.

Wow, thanks for all the comments; however, I now feel the need to try and keep it and sell the MK II that they allowed me to keep. Unfortunately, I have to mention that the gun is worth some money and I may have to pay for it now, but oh well, they are good people and just about family.

Should I assume that it will perform better with CCI Standard velocity ammo? If I don't what should I expect?

That's definitely the best ammo you can choose for this or any other m41.

If it were me , I'd keep it.....I've had one for years and don't plan on ever selling mine !

Thanks for the posts, I am pretty excited to know that I will be able to keep the M41. Now I have to find the time and place to shoot it.
