Was going to wait and shoot my new to me Model 41 this weekend at an outdoor range so I could also sight in the Marlin 881 that I bought from my FFL when I went to pick up the 41 (darn him for having guns out on display and me for having my debit card with me ). But it is expected to snow here in the Denver for the next couple days, so I took the 41 and it's cousin Model 48 to an indoor range.
All I will day is if you have been thinking about a 41, just do it. Great gun and a blast to shoot. Heck if you buy carefully you can try it for a while and sell for at least what you paid and maybe more. I bought the gun with a 5.5" barrel and before I even got the gun I saw a reasonably priced 7" with a Weaver rail for sale and brought it too. Have a scope for that on on order. It's a disease I think.
