My personal favorite 22 Semi-auto is a Model 41 made in the mid 1980s , it is a wonderful gun. I recently traded for another one made much earlier, this one has a cocking indicator on it. The two guns seem identical except for the cocking indicator except the grips on the older gun feel perceptibly smaller and much better than my mid 1980s gun. One of my best friends who owns a 41 with a cocking indicator took a look today and he also says it feels much smaller than his...so the question is why would OEM grips feel smaller ????

The OEM Grips are smaller, I measured at many different points and the newer style grips are near 1/8 thicker along the sides, front to back has stayed near the same. If you have a larger hand the newer style grips feel a bit better.
