The LGS has a Model 41 Performance Center for just under $1500. I already own a nice older model 41 but was wondering what the PC version added to the pistol's already great design.
I can see that it has a top rail and special front site. What else is 'better' and in your opinion is it worth the extra dollars? The S&W site doesn't really describe anything about the PC version different than the standard model.

personal opinion - Butt ugly and several function problems reported. Investing $1500 is for collector/speculator purposes. Would have to be 99%+ with box etc.

I think its way too much money for what you get. I have a 1958 model which works wonderful for me and I just cannot see why one of these would make me a better shooter. At my age I probably will never be a World class marksman but a dam good shot. Its a lot of money for a small improvement. Ask yourself? Is it going to make me that much a better shooter then the older one you already have? Only you can answer this question.
