What is the trigger weight set at the factory? I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but it seems heavier than my High Standard 107's 2.5 lbs. I'm the original owner (bought in 1986), so I know it hasn't been changed. The serial number (TACxxxx) says gun was built in 1984.

With out having a set of weights to lift, its hard to determine whats what. If your 41 feels heavier than your High Standard, then I'd "guess" that your 107 is under 2# and your 41 will lift 2.25#. High Standards can easily go under 2# with that sear adjustment screw on the back. To me the 41 just feels different compared to the High Standards. My smaller hands just fit the High Standard trigger better. I have to "reach" more for the 41's trigger. My 41 is a TACxxx gun too with a 2-2.25# trigger. My Victor will lift 2#, but not 2.25. My High Standard trigger feels lighter, but there about the same as far as lifting the same weight. The mechanism that allows the 41 to fire only with a magazine installed was removed from my 41. Not sure if that affects the trigger pull.
