I am trying to find the manufacture date of my 7 3/8" barrell model 41 gun with serial #9318.

Looks like 1958 to me. That's an early one for sure.

Since my serial# is 9318, do you think it might be pre-1958? This gun has not been fired in over 15 years. I tried it and it still works great with very good accurracy.

No, I believe those serial numbers occured at the end of the year so yours is 1958. You can pay S&W for a factory letter and get a more exact date.
