Sounds about right to me for a Second Generation pistol in that condition. The only ones who like them a lot are US!!!! :)

It's the same size as a 6906, I believe. Excellent.

I own and love my 469 and 669 they are great little pistols $399 is a very good price . They are very reliable and accurate enjoy.

469

I have had one for many years. Change springs every
5000 rounds and keep lubed. Great pistol. I believe
They were called a mini gun by smith. Smith's version
Of the ASP which I believe was from seventrees folks
Great edc. Ergonomics are excellent

You will like it a lot

I had a S/W ASP that I found at a gun show got it for 275 with black shoulder holster it was flawless . also 469 I had was flawless.

469

I had one in about 1985 when they were new and loved it. I don't think it ever malfunctioned.

I bought one new in 1983, it was one of the demos sent to PR. It have about 30,000 (shoot every week for over 10 years), never malfunctioned, no parts broken, good for carry, 3½" barrels perfoms like a 4", can use Model 59 magazines for added capacity. Fires as fast as you can pull the trigger.\

I wanted one in the worst way back in the 80's, but they wouldn't authorize them for off-duty guns, and the city wouldn't allow any handguns except authorized duty guns.

Kind of forgot about it as jobs changed, and the years passed.

Eventually got one that's a good shooter.
Funny that by then I already had a Glock 26.

Going by all the responses here, I guess I got a better deal than I though last May. It wasn't LNIB, but it wasn't beat up and I figured $270.00 for a 469 with a spare magazine was a decent deal. Only thing I can complain about is that the grips are really slippery. I'll be getting a set of Hogue's for it. We'll see if that makes it too thick, but since I have Hogue's on my 910 I don't think they will be.

I purchased mine way back when they were new. It never failed-to-fire and was extremely reliable. Comfortable to carry. Don't forget to check to see if it should be returned to S&W for the recall. It took me two weeks for turn around time.

I just can't help myself. When I see a 469 I buy it. Six of 'em now kinda proves the point. If you don't go for the deal Florida J Frame, I'll assuredly appreciate your providing the name and telephone number of the LGS; or, the name and location and I'll determine the rest, for I will call and make that deal happen, even realizing additional $$$ for long distance transfer. On the other hand, I too live in Florida and while it takes 18 hours to drive the state's length, I might luck out and have that store close by. Thank you, Sir!

My wife still carries hers she bought back in the 80s. Nice pistols and that is a good price for one in that condition.
