Did they do a run of these? Or is it more likely a 22 Jet barrel I'm seeing on this particular 48 I'm seeing?

Does the barrel stamp say 22 MRF or 22 Magnum?

Says 22 magnum.. so I figure it's not factory
The Model 48's barrel was marked 22 MRF. The 53 had the barrel marked 22 Magnum.

I put a 4" Jet barrel on my model 18, works fine with both the 22lr and the 22 mag cylinders.
To install a Jet barrel on a K22 or magnum, I had to set the barrel back 3 or 4 four turns, I can't remember which. That is because the Jet cylinder is about a 1/10 of an inch longer than a regular 22 cylinder, so the barrel shank is shorter
