Model 48

I have a model 48 in 22 mag
I’ve read that they offered the 22 lr cylinder when you ordered,
what would I have to do if I found one if they exist?
Would I have to have it timed and where would I find one if its doable?

Good question. You might get lucky and find that cylinder that drops in and fits, but it's doubtful. I have the 8 3/8" variation that came with the LR cylinder but it seems like over kill with an 8 3/8" 17-3 sitting next to it.
