Model 49 no dash date?

I'm wondering if anyone could give me a general idea of when this M49 was made? I picked it up in a trade this evening. The serial number is J4630xx. I know that the grips are not correct, but for a carry gun I actually like these boot grips. This one has definitely seen a lot of time in a holster. In fact, the gentleman that traded it is a local LEO and said up until about an hour before trading with me, it was on his ankle!

Really??? That's pretty cool! I can't wait to shoot it. The guy traded it and a like new Bond Arms 9mm derringer for my Taylor's & Co Gambler in 357. No idea what the model 49 is worth, but I'm happy with the trade and he's tickled pink with it as well.

I EDC a 49 no dash with Speer 135 Gold Dot short barrel +P. I use a DeSantis Nemesis in te right front pocket for the past 12 years.
