Model 547 ballpark price check please.

Three inch barrel, round butt, original grips. Circa 1982. Very few rounds through it based on overall wear. Mechanically perfect. Some holster wear on cylinder. No rust or pitting. Minor nicks on side of front sight blade. Shop hasn't set a price yet. What is a reasonable range for these? Thanks, c good

We have some new information concerning the "approved" list in California that allows us bring in any and all Smith and Wesson revolvers from out of state. The California premium will be a thing of the past shortly. What would these go for in general in the rest of the free country? Thanks for any input. c good

I paid about $580 for a 4in barrel, square butt, Model 547, about 3 months ago. About 95% condition.

One of the salespeople was VERY upset, as he had been off for a long weekend when they put it out and I snagged it before he got back.

A buddy snagged me some HKS speedloaders from a small gun shop, up north, shortly after.

It's a bit stiffer than my 4in 10-5, but a very nice gun. Now I'm jonesing for a Sig P250, to keep it company.
