Model 57 S Prefix

I just got addicted to the 41 magnum buying a mint 6"er 1980 vintage high blue, with the 3T's.
My question is when and how many blue 7.5" barreled model 41's were made?
cheers from Canada!

Now Doc STOP THAT....! You know that is the prettiest most balanced 57 ever made.... Smith should have made a 1000 of them instead of just one.

As to the question on 7.5" guns...there is only one listed and it was a stainless...a Classic Product #163946 made from 2002-2005. I see them fairly often over on GunBroker... There were no blue 7.5" 57s...just stainless.

Teesur, you're not the only person to speak highly of his sticks. I'll be speaking with him.

...and as I recall there were two blue 57 10" Silhouette guns with the adjustable front sights. One was returned to the factory to be cut to 7".

I would just like to find one of those front sights and have it installed on a 6" or 8 3/8" barrel...
