Hello, just picked this up, a nickel S&W model 57, 6 inch barrel like brand new. Excellent bright nickel with excellent grips. Made in 1976 I think. Just wanted to share.

Nice gun and it appears to be a nice shape too. Now you need to go enjoy it.
 
Nice one!!! Those older Nickle 57's sure are jewels! My 1978 6" nickle mod 57 was my first but definitely not my last .41.
 
Welcome to the Forum! Congratulations on a nice acquisition, there are lots of .41 Magnum and Model 57 fans here on the Forum. Here's my minty 4" nickel Model 57 (1980) that's one of my favorites. I bought it to replace the first S&W revolver that I ever purchased (brand new 1978 blued 4" Model 57) that was stolen during an apartment burglary just a couple of years after it was purchased. Enjoy!
