Hi, been a long time since I was on. Looking at a 586-3 I believe. Seller says it's a 1989 manufacture. It has a 4" barrel and an unusual matt blue/black finish in VGC. He lists a product code of 103591 and says there was a 2500 piece production run. Can't find a value for this particular gun. He's asking $700 and is original owner. I would like some opinions on whether it's worth it.

Thanks

103591 was a limited run of 2500 4" 586s with a glass bead blasted matte blue finish

103592 is the same revolver in a 6" configuration

$700 for any L-frame in very good condition with the original box, tools and papers is not an unfair deal. If you are in California, it is probably a GREAT deal

For a purist/collector that did not have one, perhaps the bead blasted finish might be worth something extra.

For me, I would rather own a traditional blue 586 and this piece would lose value for that finish if I were the buyer
