Model 59 age check

Hoping you guys can help. Seller claims it was manufactured in 1974. If it is from 1974, then it is a definite buy for me since I was born in 1974. If it isn't from 1974, I'll probably just get a 5906, year irrelevant. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The standard reference puts this SN as an early 1973 production gun. It may have shipped (sold) in 1974, which is how S & W tracks "birthdays", but I think this is unlikely.

Thanks. Guess I could still get it and say we were both manufactured in 1973 but didn't arrive at the gun store until 1974.
