I picked up a Model 60-9 snub in .357 Friday night from a friend. No box or anything, just a 98% gun. Had S&W combat Uncle Mike's rubber grips with a set of wood magnas that my friend had bought for it. Any idea on worth? Don't see many like this; usually see 640-1's instead, which are similar. SCSW says that some had a MIM trigger; this one is all forged parts, the trigger is solid. Has a relieved thumbpiece and a floating firing pin. Neat gun. I had a 640-1 once that I foolishly sold, and this one is a very suitable replacement. Just wondered on the value and if anyone here has had much experience with this model.

I have the same gun, and paid $450.00 for mine used, but like new. Mine also did not have a box. I think 400-500 range for those is pretty common. They are a great little gun. wyatte

The 60-9 is a neat revolver. I bought one unfired with the box and papers about a year ago.I had the chance to also buy the -10 which is the 3" version. They are the last of the prelock model 60's.I will have to look but I think mine has the mim trigger, and hammer.I would also think that it would be worth between $400 to $475 .
