Does anyone out there have a Model 60 Pro? What do you think of it? Also, what holsters would be good for pocket and or concealed carry?
Thanks in advance.

I have a 60-pro. Very accurate and a real "looker", I love it. It's a handful with 357's, so it's usually 38 specials at the range. I have yet to find the right holster (inside waist), not as many choices for the 3".

They are smooth, good shooting, and nice to look at. It makes me wonder why I would want any other .357 for carry. A belt slide should work, but most 2" holsters won't because the front night sight on the 60 Pro is too tall. I have a Sparks PKM on order for my wife (it's her gun). I know a Fobus will not fit, but I think an UM Kydex will. Both will allow the last inch to stick out of the bottom.

She can shoot it all day with 38's, and 125gr to 158gr 357's are fine with her too. She said the Remington 180's kicked a bit, but were not unmanageable (camping in black bear country loads). All in all it is a winner and worth the holster hassle.

Love the gun. Love the look. Love the grips.

This is a VERY accurate little revolver thanks to one of the Performance Center's match barrels.

Personally, I do not use a holster for pocket carry. Taking a lesson from the 5.11 Tactical Pants, I have sewn the pocket so that it is the holster.

I am pleased with my 60 Pro.
Side Guard Holsters made me a rough-out pocket holster
for the 60 pro. It's just too bulky for front pants pocket carry.
I carry it at work in a Desantis owb from the S&W online store.
I am looking for a beater 3" 60, 36, or 37, because, if I ever
have to use it, the 60 Pro is just too nice to loose. I also
usually carry a P3AT almost everywhere.

While I don't own one, I have shot a couple of them. The slight changes in the grip's make it fit my hand very well, and actually make the 158 Gr. 357 easily controllable. I'd love to have one. Too many other priorities.

Model 60 Pro

I am picking mine up today. Very hard to find one. I bought it online at the "Gun Genie" site. Usually they are out of stock, but I was lucky and found one by checking the site twice a day. I bought a De Santis holster to carry the gun in. I will let you all know how it works out.

decided on holster

I decided to get a simply rugged holster for my 60 pro, same one in the gunblast article. Although I did get the 'inside out straps" as well. Read some positive comments on this site about simply rugged holsters and I like the Alaska connection. Should be receiving it soon.

One of the sexiest Smiths ever made. Mine is a joy to shoot.

You will love the simply rugged holsters. I've got 2 1 for sp101 & 1 for 325 Thunder Ranch their awsome. hoss

Love that mdl 60 Pro. Shoots great and packs like it is not there. Believe it or not my favorite carry holster for it is an Uncle Mikes IWB in size 5? It will accomodate the longer barrel and the 60 just sinks out of site. Got several of the UM holsters since they are inexpensive and light. Very little bulk also.

Well, I've had my Simply Rugged silver dollor for a little over a week. It is the perfect match for my 60 pro. Glad I took the time to "research" (mostly on this site) to find the right one, rather than settling for something else. Great holster for a sweet wheelie!

Model 60 Pro

I've never shot so good as with my model 60 pro. It is truly a work of art. Its like I'm dating the prettiest girl in school when I pull it out of my range bag. Everyone drools with envy. I ordered mine and waited 7 months for it to come in, but well worth the wait. I too haven't found a good holster for it. I purchased one recommended for it on the S&W site and, although its looks good, its not a perfect it.
