Model 60 with Combat grips - saw one yesterday.

First time have seen any J-Frame Combat grips.
They have finger groves and look like the K-Frame combats being sold.

Revolver appeared to be in great shape.

Asking price was $650.
Today it was gone.
Did I make a mistake walking out without it.

Depends on which M60 you were looking at and the condition of the combat stocks. It it was a 60-10 or other 3 inch with sights and good condition S&W combats I'd say I wouldn't have passed. Good luck with the next opportunity.

How many have a second finger that is 1 1/2 inches in diameter?

Some people like combats and some don't. My second / middle finger isn't inch and half diameter and I'm glad that the top trigger guard cut is big... fits my hand perfectly.
Got these beautiful grips from grip friend Paul:cool:

Yes, no. Combats can be found $100-150 and model 60s for four bills and up. If I saw a NIB, orginal model 60 I'd pay six+
