Model 63 handles

Can someone tell me please what actually kind of handles came out on a model 63? My first 3 serial numbers are M117. Why I’m asking because I hear that Jay brain round but dig it and then Jay frame square butt fit it. I bought a pair of J frame round butt and they’re way too short thanks for any input.

I shamelessly show mine again,,,,,,All the target grips fit round butt or square butt J frames. They all came from the factory with the small grips pictured.

The only 63 I have is a 2” and it came with Uncle Mikes.

Thanks for the information, so that’s why the target grips that is on mine are larger so that means they won’t fit the original box correct?

My 1981 Model 63 with target stocks and original factory stocks. Square butt J frame.

If RB grips are too short, your revolver probably have a SB grip frame.

I eventually put "Bananas " on all my short ones...........As shown on the nickel 34.

If I'm understanding the OP correctly it seems the concern is of J-frame grips being too short.

That being the case, VZ Grips (their "wrap around" style) and LOK Grips (their "Palm Swell Veloce" style) both offer full 3-finger grip on the gun. Both are made of G10, which is super tough and looks good in the process.

Both bought used, both came with Magnas.
