Model 63 questions

I am interested in acquiring a Model 63. Can anyone tell me the history of this gun i.e. when they were made, lengths, when did they transition to no pin, when did they start MIM, etc...

Also, I would like to know some idea of value. I would really like an early model pinned 2 or 3" incher.
