Model 64-3 D.O.B. help please

Looking at a model 64-3 with box in about 85%-90% condition. Seller wants 350.00 for it. Serial # 7D382**
Can one of the fine gentlemen here provide a D.O.B...and do you think that is a fair price.
It's been a couple years since my last S&W purchase.

D.O.B = 1981.

With original box/papers/tools, $350 would be an "OK" price.

There are many model 64s on the used gun market right now, mostly ex-law enforcement guns, so prices are low. J & G Sales in AZ has quite a few on sale. Perhaps point this out to the seller and offer $300?
