Hi Guys,

Having a problem with my Model 64-3.

When the cylinder is closed on 2 of the cylinders, the ejector rod does not appear to spring into the breach hole and push the cylinder release back, preventing the hammer from cocking.

If it is closed on any of the other 4 cylinders everything works fine.

Any ideas?

Sounds like your ejector rod and/or yoke are somewhat tweaked. It is possible to buy the fixture in order to fix it. It is also possible to use a wedge and modest size hammer to tweak the parts on the gun. Not real hard to do, but not a job for a beginner either as you can bubba the gun seriously.

First, make sure the extractor rod is not loose and that there is no debris under the extractor star or the recess in the cylinder where the extractor star seats. Second, it could be the ejector rod is either bent or the tip of the rod that engages the barrel lock is damaged.

My vote is that it is most likely a bent ejector rod. Very easily fixed with a bench vise, a soft hammer, a cordless drill, a sharpie marker and some patience.
