Been at the LGS two days running looking at a 64-4 snub nose. Appears to be in excellent condition in both function and finish. Can get it for $400. I have two questions. Is that a fair price? Does anyone have an idea when this was made? I appreciate yall's help.

That is a good price. If it has original grips or box and/or papers it would make it an even better deal. I doubt you would have any trouble getting your money back if you want to sell or trade it.

It would not last one day on our classified forum. It might be gone in minutes.

I can't remember the last time I saw a 2" Model 64 in good shape for sale. For $400 you had better get it.

Well I guess I know what I better do then. Again thanks....Pharmer...that's a beauty you have there.

I picked up a local corrections department turn-in 64-2 about six months ago for $425 and couldn't be more happy about it. I'd be all over another one for $400.

When I got it:

I passed up a never fired Model 10 2" for $400 last month and have been kicking myself ever since, a 64 2" for that price would be a really good deal.

Did pick up a 3" 64-6 this month on the forum and it is a nice clean pistol.

Can't go wrong with a k frame, grab it!
