I have a Model 642 that I got for my wife and am interested in knowing how old it is. Could someone help me with mfg. date? The serial number is DA081XX. I don't think it is very old - just curious. Thanks Randy

Mine is a 642-1 ser # CSZxxxx which I bought new @ a year ago.

My 3rd edition SCSW stops (with a few assorted exceptions) at DEW with the three-letter s/n's.
