Just read a neat posting on that “other” forum related to younger horses. A guy posted some photos and details regarding a Model 65 chambered in 22LR. He also had a letter from Mr Jinks basically spelling out how the revolver came to be, and how it was his at one point, and as far as he knew, it was the only one still in existence. The poster had the box and other stuff.
I was not sure about posting a link, but will do so if it’s ok.
Neat, early version of something like the current 617 MG. Basically a test production run of a stainless Model 18 that got numbered a Model 65 before the 357 Model 65 was developed.
I’m sure this is not new news to the board, but I learned something new today!
