Noticed a number of 67's for sale on GA that were DAO, then converted back to DA-SA. Notice they aren't selling either. They look nice, price too high?($419) or messed up due to the conversion? Thanks

I saw them being sold by Robertson's Trading Post on GA. They looked okay (I know nothing of them being converted back to DA/SA), but I though the price was a little high.

Old, I bought a 67 no dash a year ago on Guns America for $375. Minor scuffing and scratching. Was not a LEO turn in as far as I can tell. 67's are fine Smiths. I need to shoot mine more. Bob

A few weeks back, I received a 67 from the mentioned FFL. There had been an attempt somewhere in the gun's life to convert it back to DA/SA capability by re-cutting existing parts; it did not meet original factory spec's. To their credit, Robertson did stand behind the product.

If the guns were converted to DAO by the LAPD, converting them back to SA/DA would require replacement of the hammer. The original conversion consisted of grinding the sear catch from the hammer.
