Model 67 Question

Just picked up a nice 67 no dash. It had O.H.B stamped on left side. The shop tried to say that stamp means it was a former California Hwy Patrol model gun.. Anyone know what it means?

The shop was right.
The "C" and the "P" were overstamped before they were sold by the state.

Thanks fellas, I figured as much, just wanted to make sure it was a former CHP gun. Also, this gun has a green front sight vice a red front sight. Does anyone know if that was a factory sight or after market?
