Model 67

I visited a local fun shop today. They had model 67 no dash. It was in decent shape but listed for $750!!!

As I've posted before, there are a lot of optimists out there. Many "cement-mixer" guns on consignment in my range/LGS with jewelry store prices. My 67 no-dash was one of the early ones, purchased in '73. Any no-dash is going to be 40 years old. Very few guns in this age range are in decent shape, unlike the one you saw. I'd also pass.

Three or four years ago I was in a pawn shop (that had a very nice gun section) looking at snubby H&R .22. They had a 67 in there that had sat for a long time. They basically made me buy it for $200. An hour or so of cleaning and polishing and I had a nice gun. It sold on GB last year for around $500. .38s can be great bargains these days as revolvers are taking a back seat to bottom feeders and everyone wants a magnum if they do get a revolver.
