Model 68 different prices CHP vs OHB / Matte vs Polished

Will ask simple questions about price differences.

How much higher do you think is Model 68 marked CHP is worth one over stamped OHB?

How much higher do you think a CHP Model 68 with the original matte finish
vs one that has a "Mother's Mag Polish" finish?

How much higher do you think a LAPD Model 68 with the original matte finish
vs one that has a "Mother's Mag Polish" finish?

Matte might no be the correct word for the original finish.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

I think these 38 versions on a 357 frame are interesting.

Since the 68 is such a unique gun with a unique history, I’d devalue a Mothers finish by $500 or so, where I’d say $200 or less on a standard stainless model. I happen to like the polished guns, but not on a 68.

As for the CHP difference referenced, I’d add $300.

I think it is called "satin". 15 years later, S&W called the matte finish "frosted".
