Does anyone know when they changed the slide serations? I have a no-dash with the wide serations.

They changed nothing. They just had a few special runs with different serations.

Yep, that one there's the one I wouldn't mind adding to my 945 stable. Especially so if it's the one with the orange front sight. They had a number of those come up on Gunbroker a year or so back, and I foolishly let them all slide by. One of these days I hope another will show up for auction.

'Course, I need to get a 952 before I worry about another 945...but when has logic made much impact on gunbuying decisions?

I am new to the forum. I have a 5 inch stainless 945 for sale. sn is rsa0091. It has about 4k soft ppc rounds through it. It comes with 10 magazines. It is a tack driver. I bought it to shoot ppc, which is a dying sport here in southern illinois. I am asking $1200 for all. pics available on request.

I received this 945-1 last Monday. The fired case envelope is dated 11-13-08, so it's pretty current production of what the S&W customer service rep called the two-tone version.
