I'm looking at a pistol for sale, the serial # 354994 . It is a chromed 32 cal. I'm trying to get the model #, and what it may be worth. I'm a new member, hope I have posted in the right place.

It is a S&W 32 cal. , serial # H64707, with a 2 inch barrel.

Your gun dates from the early to mid 1970's and is built on the J frame. It's either a round butt Model 30-1 (.32 Hand Ejector) or a square butt Model 31-1 (Regulation Police). It will have the model number stamped on the frame in the yoke cut, which makes identification easy.
