Ladies and Gentlemen:
I have a Second Model of 1891 which was returned to David Chicoine years ago and returned to me incomplete when he went out of business. The up-front fee of $250.00 is long gone so I'm licking my wounds and moving on.
I wish to know if anyone knows of a reputable gunsmith who works on vintage Smiths and, in particular, this model of gun. The hammer has a push-off problem which I'd like to have corrected so I can begin safely shooting it. I live in the Denver area but can ship the gun country-wide if a reputable gunsmith in another State can work on it.
If anybody has any suggestions, please drop me an e-mail at [email protected].
Thanks to all in advance.
