I picked up this box of military unprimed rifle cases and have no idea what they are for.
The only thing I can find under Model 1919 is the Browning .30 cal machine gun. I wouldn't think machine gun ammo would come 20 rounds to a box and be labeled "gallery practice".
When I first saw it, I was thinking Pedersen device, but that is the Model 1918 and is a much smaller pistol sized cartridge.
DOM 1922. I looked through my Springfield 1903 book by Joe Poyer and didn't see anything. Anybody familiar with these?
