I hope I am posting this in the right place to ask these questions.
Was at LGS today & looked at a S&W 45 Cal revolver, & I am having a terrible time finding information. Owner would not let me take a picture but let me write down all information Iam stating.

1. Serial number-- DAW4351

2. Model-- on barrel "Model of 1950 45 cal

3. Nickel 4" barrel 4 screw revolver

4. Serial number location--- on butt & on yoke.

5. Also had the number 22-4 on the yoke.

Can anyone help me figure ot this puzzle.

Thanks Mike

Sounds like a modern produced S&W N Frame model 22-4 in Nickel finish. .45 ACP Caliber. These were produced by S&W in the last 10 years. Originally done in blued with a "Thunder Ranch" gold logo.

Do a search of 22-4 or Thunder Ranch. I have a blued one without the logo. Great gun.

Thanks for the help. Was able to figure out it was a limited production 22-4. Only limited because it is nickel. Looks like I am going to get another posting infraction for posting in wrong time period. But I had no idea what year it was mfg.
Thanks Mike
