There are two types of trigger springs in these Model 1, 2nd issues. Lower serial numbers have a single leaf spring and higher numbers have a V shaped spring. I suspect you have the V spring type gun. Either one is easy to make if you are handy with tools, etc. Get an old alarm clock main spring and clip a section from it long enough to make the new spring. If you have the single leaf spring, cut a piece the same length and install it in your gun. If you need the V spring , you will have to heat a piece of spring, bend it to the V shape and anneal it, then fit it to your gun. Gun dealers like Brownells or Midway sell bags of generic V springs that can sometimes be trimmed to work in a gun. Plan "B" is to look for a junker Model One, 2nd issue, and salvage the trigger spring. I'm not aware of any parts suppliers that would have the exact spring you need and the expense of having a gunsmith make a spring and repair the gun would exceed the value of the gun, so it's a DIY job .
