Rusty1953, John and others. Thanks for your concerns.

I'm well, sold all 17 head of cattle last fall just before the artic winter descended on the KS prairie. Saved me a bundle in not buying hay.

Other than the 180 class Whitetail I KIA'd in deer season it was a long and cold winter.

I have a pic on my cell phone looking west from my house. There was lots of snow on the ground, light grey clouds hung low, no sun and for 10 days there was no sunshine. One could look towards the horizon and see no difference between land and sky. A surreal world of off white.

Weather and temperatures are distinctly a relative thing. I was on my cell phone, i.e. anti cabin fever device, talking to an acquaintance in the twin cities area up there in MN land. I mentioned we'd had lots of snow and it was colder here than Fairbanks and the Artic for most of the winter.

She told me for the last week or 2 their temps have been colder than the Antartic. Suddenly I felt warmer.

Not much gun news.

Broke up the nightly boredom by gun musical chairs to put on my end table while we watch tv. Tonite it'll be the 66 no dash 4", tomorrow the 4" 686 or the 1911 Kimber 45 or the sugar 40 SW or the Ruger or the Ruger or the 6" K frame or the Model 12 with a 1918 riot bbl assemble I rebuilt or the riot 37 or the wicked black High Standard clone riot with handguard.

Maybe an AR.

Twice in another city I've had crack induced pack rats want in the front door. Vigilance is the key. And a 1911 is the lock.

Do you think they'd get the hint if I read them Edgar Allen Poe's line, quoth the raven, nevermore.

Hope all has a good night and great week. Normally my cell phone wont get me into the site but tonite it did.
