The only part that looks buggered on my recently acquired 1948 K 22 is the rear sight elevation nut. Numrich's doesn't list one for that model, so how confident could I be that the same part from their general "K Frame" category (or the limited 17- series category) would work? Would rather not drop the $12 + shipping to find out it was a bad idea. Anybody have experience with this kind if part replacement...?

Also, what's the spring clip, and how difficult is that to deal with in a swap of the nut...?

do you know if its a modern type with the spring and plunger or is it a reverse threaded nut like on older model 35's. if you need a spring clip it must be like a newer sight ,the spring clip is like a slip ring that holds the nut in the sight body, Bob If its the newer type,PM me with your info and I will drop one ( nut and clip)in an envelope for youBob.
