Are either the MOE or Performance Center models of the M&P 15-22 available in NJ compliant versions?

Anything to do other than pin the mag and stock?

Thanks and regards,
Scott

Thanks Majorlk...

I must have browsed right over the compliant section of the site.

I'll have to search better on this forum because I seem to remember a post where someone said they were able to purchase the MOE version where their local shop had pinned the mag.

That's entirely possible. It just has to be pinned before it's delivered to the customer. Same deal here.

These days they will include a real 10 round mag not a pinned 25 in compliant states. I bought my PC model in MD. 10 round mag meant no waiting and no mag issues. In MD you can own 20+ round mags they just can't be sold to you in the state. Reason I have a PO Box in WV.

Just to "complete the circle" here...

I ended up purchasing a stock model 811031 (NJ Compliant) and already have ordered the Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun as well as a Vortex Sparc.

Considering upgrading the grip and the stock as well... and maybe some LaRue index clips to personalize the appearance a bit and make for quick identification of where my preferred grip is..

Any recommendations out there?

i went with the magpul miad grip because i have larger hands however the hogue grip is quite comfy with the finger curves and the moe+ is nice and rubberized. for stocks, i like the looks of the magpul moe and ctr, i went with the airsoft ctr because it was cheap and worked fine.

I went with the MIAD also and when I threw on the large backstrap, it felt soo much better than the original grip. But those are the only two grips I have had my hand around so I can't compare it against any of the other aftermarket grips out there.

I also threw on the Magpul ACS buttstock and like it better that stock also.

I kept the Vltor stock on my PC model but went with an Ergo grip. I bought the tool and swapped the stock polymer quad rail for a Nordic small diameter 13" PC-22 modular handguard. That makes it as long as the one on my Stag 3G so I can grip both with my off hand a long way down toward the end of the barrel. Steel shooting technique is almost identical to 3-gun techniques when engaging multiple targets whether on the move or stationary. That and my Geissele Super 3-Gun trigger w/KNS locking trigger pins, and Magpul BAD is about all I need. A couple of scopes and a red/green reflex sight and lots of magazines.
