Mom has travelled on and left us ETA: Thanks and appreciation

It is with heavy heart that I pass on the information that Mom passed away last night around midnight. While I am saddened there is also the relief that she is not suffering any more, as she is hale and hearty on the other side with Dad and all our fur babies.

My condolences, too, John. BTDT 25years ago. And sharing my gf's grief/relief over this last year after her mum passed away at 94. "Getting older ain't for sissies" as they say, and it applies to those of us caring for ageing parents, too. Makes us all to aware of our own mortality.

All we can do is take comfort that we did our best for them and let the process of grieving take its course.
