I recently picked up a 627PC and I can't find a single round that fits in the TK supplied moon clips. I have tried Remington, Hornady, PPU, PMC, and 3 different types of Federal and none will fit. These rounds fit fine in the moon clips that came with my 442 Pro. The 9mm TK clips for my 986 work great. Amazon has Speed Beez, Ultimate Arms Gear, and RS moon clips for an 8 shot N frame. Has anyone tried these? Any good?

Do they have any markings on them? If not, I wonder if they're for the 929. Have you tried putting a 9mm round in it?

I had the same problem with the TKs in .45 Colt. Call Avery @ 217-643-2002, and they will take care of it. They sent new ones to me in a few days, and they work great.

Duster:

You can use ranch products with mixed brass. GFI (fiocchi) , American, starline, fit well. They fall in with your fingertips. No loader or special tool required! I load 929 and 627 clips like this. If you "need" a special tool? Brass is the wrong size. Winchester brass are too tight. I don't remember Remington.

Rounds in moonclips shouldn't be too tight.

Starline brass fit ranch products perfectly. Try them out.

Thanks for the replies guys. I load them by hand and don't have any issue with any of my other moon clip revolvers.
