I have to wonder why you wouldn't want to?

Using it mainly at the range , not in a extreme hurry to reload & punch holes in paper. Any effect on accuracy.
I have had this impression as well but have not done the A/B testing to prove. Does change the way the primers appear. I have speed clips and moon clips and agree that the speed loaders do seem faster but that is an over practiced activity because I have more practice with them whether with Ruger GP100 or old time Dan Wesson. I suspect one could get reasonable proficient with either. helps that they share the prep of unloading and setting up the cylinder for the reload. What does Jerry M the revolver shooter extraordinaire use?I find clips make it more accurate. I don't see that much extra speed in loading. Speed clips are faster.

I have a 627 and a lot of speed loaders and moon clips. Both work fine. It is important to match the moon clips to the appropriate brand of ammo -- not all clips work with all ammo.
5Star makes great speedloaders for the 627 if you want to go that way. Seems to me that one advantage of a speedloader is that it is less fragile for carrying than moon clips.
