Moon clips info needed -- 627PC

I have a 627PC 8 shot snubby recently acquired.

I believe there are at least two, perhaps more sizes of 8 round moon clips out there -- differing by thickness.

What is the scoop on moon clips for these guns?

I've heard a lot of complaints about poor fit of cartridges, cartridges falling out, etc.

Where is the best place to buy moon clips that would have the different thicknesses?

Which brands of ammo go with which sized clips?

Also are there any plastic moon clips available for the 627 like there are for the 625 45acp?

Or do most people stick with speed loaders?

I would contact Ranch Products for steel clips and Rimz Clips if they offer the plastic model.

TK custom or Hearthco. Tell them what brass you use and you will end up with just right moonies. TK has sent me samples in the past to try on the brass I use.
