When I stopped by the County CourtHouse in February to renew my permit, one of the sherrifs stated that applications had gone from about four per day to over twenty.

But it is good to see more people standing up and taking responsibility for themselves and defending not only their lives but their rights.

All the classes in the mid-TN area seem to be almost full up every time they give them. I heard from TBI that carry permit applications are up like 100% from a year or two ago. I am seeing people in my shop who never bought a gun before getting interested in it. That's good.

But this seems to be a "heartland" phenomenon. People on the coasts haven't gotten the message and are probably wondering why all these rednecks and hicks are so stuck on their guns. It is further evidence of the divide in America.
