I generally prefer revolvers in the 5 to 6 inch barrel range.

That said. There is something in the 3 1/5 inch model 27 that strikes me.:D

Here are six of mine that I think are fairly decent looking, left to right:

S&W Model 10 wearing Grasshorns. The knife is a Puma Prince.

Colt's 1911 GCNM with Herrett's Double Diamonds. 1911 Universal knife.

S&W 642-1 with Hogue's Blue Lava grips. Knife is a Piranha.

S&W Model 27 on the Left and Model 29 on the Right. The 29 wearing
Herrett's Cocobolo stocks.

S&W Model 19 wearing Herrett's Jordan Trooper stocks, and a McGivern
gold bead front sight.

You know, Phil. I would have liked your post if it wasn't for the "butchered" revolver in your last picture. I hate "fitz specials", no appreciation for the "fellow" either.

There! I said it! and feel better already. :D

I have no idea what you are talking about and don't think you
do either. What is the "butchering" you refer to? What did
Fitz have to do with anything?

Bah, Fitz'd guns are absolutely gorgeous!

My most expensive revolver is one that was personally Fitz'd by Charlie Askins, and gifted to Elvis, who as we all know, killed Jimmy Hoffa and 5 mobsters over a disagreement regarding the suitability of bananas as a sandwich topping in an alley behind the Piggly Wiggly in Nashville.

Here's some pictures of it:

There's just something about a good 629 that I find appealing...Here are my favorite three at the moment: 629 No Dash, 629-2 Hunter, 629-3.
